BARL News .....
“The kids from MSA have been very involved in BARL activities for the last two years, and recently formed a club called the Brookhaven Animal Rescue Klub (BARK). Club members come to the Adoption Center to socialize the animals by walking the dogs and playing with the cats. This socialization goes a long way in helping to get an animal adopted. The students are also a huge help at our off-site adoption events,” said Lu Becker, BARL President.
* BARL is as a non-profit, limited intake animal welfare group. The volunteer-based organization serves Copiah, Franklin and Lincoln counties. BARL provides food, shelter and veterinary services for abandoned, orphaned and unwanted animals until they are adopted. All BARL animals are vet checked, vaccinated and spayed/neutered. Dogs are also micro-chipped.

For information on adopting, donating or volunteering at the Adoption Center, contact BARL at 601-757-4367 or info@barl.net. Donations are tax deductible and may be mailed to BARL, P.O. Box 3477, Brookhaven, MS 39603.
