FC All-Star Jett Watts Pitches No Hitter in Minor League Tourney

ROXIE, MS - 2012 Franklin County Dixie Youth Baseball  Minor League All-Star Jett Watts pitched a no hitter in the sub-district tournament on July 6, 2012 as the Franklin County Minor All-Stars defeated The Natchez Minor All-Stars 11 - 1 on a hot and humid night.  


The bats were hot for FC with Braden Whitehead, Doobie Brown, Wyatt Brumfield, Tristan Hayles and Chasney Green  getting two hits each.  The box score also showed Whitehead, Brown and Brumfield with one 'two bagger' each and the Minors 'kept the bats hot' while 'tagging the ball' for 11 runs. 


As the All-Star schedule continues the FC Majors play Copiah County at 6:00 pm in Gloster, Ms and the FC Minors play Lincoln County Nationals at 6:00 pm in Bude, Ms. 


Come out and enjoy some 'great baseball' played by kids that love the game, coaches that coach, parents that support & volunteers that devote their time and energy  for the kids !
