Severe Weather Across Franklin County Causes Concerns

Franklin County was alerted at about 6:45 PM Wednesday to a Severe Thunderstorm Alert that was upgraded by the National Weather Service to a Tornado Watch.  At 8:27 PM no damage had been reported to the Franklin County Sheriffs Office

* AT 812 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A
  LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN
  EXCESS OF 60 MPH.  THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING
  FROM NEW HOPE TO BUDE TO 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF BUDE MOVING EAST AT
  35 MPH.
