The 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Franklin County Dixie Youth League will be held at the Dixie Youth baseball field on Saturday, April 14, 2012. A time is to be announced. All players from the year 1962 to present are ask to attend this special event featuring fireworks at the end of day. The League will be honoring the 2011 District 6 Champions with an unveiling of a special sign in addition to a trophy presentation ceremony. Organizers are asking that anyone having old photos, in which they are willing to share, to please contact them. A 'old timers' game is also in the plans.
