11 Yr Old Justin Emfinger Arrives Home After Accident

April 26, 2012
ROXIE, MS - Justin Emfinger arrived home today from his stay at the Joseph M Still Burn Center in Augusta, Ga.  Eleven-year-old Justin was accidentally injured during a recent explosion when he received burns to his left side, arm, neck and face.  He has had several operations to stabilized the burned  area and several skin graft operations to repair damage.  "As Doctors began the first operation it was discovered that the burns were 'deeper' than expected. So, things have taken longer.  However ... Justin has rallied with his strong will and spirit to make great progress' said his father, Bryan.

As Justin arrived home he commented that he was tired from the ordeal and trip back home but so 'glad to be back home".

The Justin Emfinger Fund has been set-up at Bank of Franklin for special donations to aid with the cost of his medical expenses.  You may make a donation to the fund at any office or branch location of The Bank of Franklin.
