ROXIE, MS - Milton Griffin is a Co-Lin football player with Franklin County roots. He soon may be a Co-Lin baseball player with Major League Baseball (MLB) who has recently gotten the scouts attention.
Griffin, an athletic 5-9, 160-pound Kirby native, worked out for five MLB clubs last week at Co-Lin's Sullivan Field and he looked impressive running a 6.55 in the 60-yard dash. He also showcased a plus outfield arm in front of scouts from the Rockies, Cardinals, Angels, Marlins, and A's.
