Braden Whitehead Hits Grand Slam in Tourney Play

BUDE, MS - FC Dixie Youth Minor League player Braden Whitehead hit a grand slam home run in the FC Minor League North Sub-District Tournament Game  as FC stays undefeated in tourney play with their 14 -3 win over Lincoln Americans in Tuesday night tourney play.  


Franklin County All-Stars earned another 10-run rule game as their bats stayed hot with Colby Guice hitting a double and Tristan Hayles and Guice both getting multiple hits at the plate.

The games winning pitcher was Jett Watts who has also pitched a game winning no-hitter in tourney play.  FC All-Stars play again today (Wednesday 11th)  in Gallman beginning at 8 pm. 


In FC Dixie Youth Major League play  on July 10th the Major All-Stars defeated Lincoln County 10 - 8 with pitcher Dalton Hayles getting the win and Tebow Hunt getting the save.   Jason MdKinney and Kail Jordan each hit for doubles along with one other hit.  Also, Tebow Hunt had multiple hits and the bats stayed warm in their win.  


Both FC Dixie Youth All-Star Clubs remain undefeated going into today's game.
